    The Project:  Shape was facing a significant decline in traffic to its website and message boards due to the rising use of social media platforms. A strategic approach was necessary to retain active users on either the site-hosted message boards or Shape-controlled social media pages.

     

    The Challenge: The key difficulty resided with transitioning the audience to a Shape-controlled Facebook page without losing substantial ad revenue, promotional opportunities, ad deals, and subscription potentials. The goal was to find a solution that could bypass these challenges and simultaneously drive growth for both advertisers and users.

     

    The Solution: Analzing both the messageboards and social pages use for key topics and conversion activity helped to shape the content which would be posted on the social platforms with the goal it would continue to be forwarded. In addition unique content pieces which were designed to find a high volume of sharing by focusing on leaders in the communities, was created to help proliferate views on the social platform and within the content, links to subscriptions as well as the site and site's message boards were present.

     

    As a result of looking at the user commentary trends were, as well as aligning shared content with content that was analyzed to increase time on site, and make ads relevant, we organically captured a quarer million new followers organically over a period of approximately 20 months and the traditional forum use continued to rise and remain active with nearly 100,000 visitors each day.

    The Project: Building Brand Awareness on an increadibly tight budget to drive brand enthusiasm, press and pathways to new partnerships.

     

    The Challenge: Despite early success and a partnership with Anheiser Busch , maintaining this momentum was critical in the competitive skincare industry. The challenge was intensified by a constrained budget, which ruled out many traditional, costly marketing methods. A creative, cost-efficient solution was necessary to sustain growth and strengthen market positioning.

     

    The Solution: Development of low cost and high impact asetts to be used in highly trafficked areas to drive leads and awareness to drive the brand presence and innovation.

    1. Celebrity Esthetician-Backed Newsletter: Utilizing the reputation of a celebrity esthetician known for working with hollywood stars, we introduced an engaging landing page for the esthetician's personalized newsletter and a focused social media ad campaign to attract and retain online customer interest.This newsletter employed early AI technology for content customization based on user interactions, enhancing engagement and relevance.
    2. Revolutionary Influencer Marketing: We also negotiated partnerships with macro and mega influencers using a revenue-sharing model rather than a standard fee aligned their interests with the brand's success, promising them potentially higher returns if the performance of their posts met the KPIs they shared.
    3. Strategic Retail Partnerships: The additional press and awareness also allowed for BORBA to more easliy form reseller agreements with large online (and retail) with companies such as Quidsi and Walgreens to not only broaden the brand's reach and visibility but also boost its SEO and market accessibility.
